Our mission is to ease the cancer burden in Nigeria. We believe preventable cancers, such as cervical cancer, should be eliminated. We know that knowledge empowers better choices, whether you are a patient, family caregiver, or supporter. By staying informed and taking action, you not only improve outcomes for yourself and your loved ones but also contribute to our shared mission of transforming cancer care in Nigeria.

Our founder, Dr Omolola Salako, is one of Nigeria's 100 Consultant Clinical Oncologists. She established a living memorial to her younger sister, Omoseun Rebecca, who died of kidney cancer at age 18, by establishing Sebeccly Cancer Care and Support Centre in 2003.
In 2026, Sebeccly will celebrate 20 years of saving lives and standing with cancer patients. As we look to the future, we invite you to be part of our vision for the next decade, building a world where every woman has access to life-saving care.

At the core of our founding story is our commitment to establishing Africa’s first Cancer Survivorship Centre in 2006. To celebrate Sebeccly Cancer Care’s 10th Anniversary in 2015, we focused on raising funds to secure a permanent location for the centre. As we approach our 20th anniversary in 2026, we need your help to save more lives.
Your support and donations will assist us in building hope in the face of cancer.
Imagine a place where the final chemo treatment isn’t the end, but a new beginning. This is a cancer survivorship centre.
A cancer survivorship centre is a specialized healthcare facility dedicated to supporting individuals who are on active treatment and those who have completed their active cancer treatment. It focuses on the long-term well-being of cancer survivors, addressing the physical, emotional, and practical challenges that may arise after treatment. These centres often provide a wide range of services, including follow-up care, rehabilitation, psychological counselling, nutritional guidance, and support groups. The goal is to help survivors regain their health, improve their quality of life, and reduce the risk of cancer recurrence.
It is not just a building; it is a harbour of hope. It is where survivors come to reclaim their lives, not just from the disease, but for their futures. Here, a mother learns to laugh with her children again without the shadow of fear, a father rediscovers the strength to walk his daughter down the aisle, and a friend finds the courage to dream again.
Your donation does more than just fund programs; it builds a bridge from sickness to wellness. It provides a sanctuary where survivors can heal, not just their bodies, but their spirits. It offers a hand to hold when the path is uncertain, a voice to guide when the way is dark, and a community to celebrate every milestone, big or small.
Give today and become a part of this incredible journey of healing and hope. Help us turn survivors into thrivers.
