Fighting cancer with Knowledge, Care, and Hope

Your donation brings a woman closer to cancer prevention, timely support, hope and coping resources

Sebeccly Cancer Care is committed to cancer prevention, early detection, treatment support, and survivorship. Together, we are bringing quality cancer care within reach of women and families across Nigeria.

Your kindness helps women facing cancer live fuller and brighter lives.

The Donor Wall of Hope

Making a gift to Sebeccly Cancer Care is a thoughtful way to celebrate your special day or honour the memory of a loved one, or implement your company's corporate social responsibility. The Donor Wall of Hope is for exclusive donors.

If you can't feed a hundred people, then just feed one. - Mother Teresa

Nigeria, with a population of over 200 million people, are served by only 100 clinical oncologists. Each year, 127,000 new cancer cases are diagnosed, the majority in women, and 63% of people diagnosed with cancer die from the disease.

Research shows that about 40% of these deaths could have been avoided through prevention, public education and early presentation for care. We can reduce the cancer death rates by preventing preventable cancers, educating the public so they can present early and have the best fighting chance.

We need your help. Join us to save more lives.

After my diagnosis, I received the wrong treatment because i did not get access to the right information and care team. But now my healthcare team has helped me through this journey of recovering and navigating this challenging journey. Mrs K.J

Your donation would help us to provide more cancer treatment to women on our waiting list.

Cancer Survivorship Centre

At the core of our founding story is our commitment to establishing Africa’s first Cancer Survivorship Centre in 2006. To celebrate Sebeccly Cancer Care’s 10th Anniversary in 2015, we focused on raising funds to secure a permanent location for the centre. As we approach our 20th anniversary in 2026, we need your help to save more lives.

Your support and donations will assist us in building hope in the face of cancer.

Cancer Workforce

Imagine a place where the final chemo treatment isn’t the end, but a new beginning. This is a cancer survivorship centre.

A cancer survivorship centre is a specialized healthcare facility dedicated to supporting individuals who are on active treatment and those who have completed their active cancer treatment. It focuses on the long-term well-being of cancer survivors, addressing the physical, emotional, and practical challenges that may arise after treatment. These centres often provide a wide range of services, including follow-up care, rehabilitation, psychological counselling, nutritional guidance, and support groups. The goal is to help survivors regain their health, improve their quality of life, and reduce the risk of cancer recurrence.

It is not just a building; it is a harbour of hope. It is where survivors come to reclaim their lives, not just from the disease, but for their futures. Here, a mother learns to laugh with her children again without the shadow of fear, a father rediscovers the strength to walk his daughter down the aisle, and a friend finds the courage to dream again.

Your donation does more than just fund programs; it builds a bridge from sickness to wellness. It provides a sanctuary where survivors can heal, not just their bodies, but their spirits. It offers a hand to hold when the path is uncertain, a voice to guide when the way is dark, and a community to celebrate every milestone, big or small.

Give today and become a part of this incredible journey of healing and hope. Help us turn survivors into thrivers.
